gpx filter mod

Post by goldfinger on Wed 08 Apr 2015, 10:19 pm

so what do people think of woody's mods. he has a anti interference filter that seems to do a great job. getting rid of EMI and electronic interference will certainly result in more depth and gold.

From what I have seen and heard from those few that have one of these filters is that they don't work to the extent that one needs it to work to quieten the emi down of the 5k.

u might be better of with an AI coil or maybe try out the new ELITE 14" coil which is suppose to run quieter due to its different winding and the use of litz wire.

Or a Detech coil. Our 15" x 8" mono works beautifully under power lines. Don't know about salty ground though.
