Good couple of days

Got out with Banjo for a couple of days detecting.
I gave the new Coiltek coil a run and was quite empressed with it, good strong signal responce on both depth and on the smaller targets.
While Darren got used to his new 7000.
I picked up almost an ounce ( 28grm) and I believe Darren found just over 17grms.
So a good couple of days for us both.

Twas a great trip, the wind was very strong, the gold was nearly being blown from the scoop and we both said we lost our balance slightly at times from the strength of it yesterday.

It was good to see Terry ping some bigger stuff, the Elite performed well, i basically left the 7000 in factory settings and concentrated on the GB side of things, i was happy with how it performed and it's impossible to walk past some of the dig me signals but on the other hand it gave me some real ugly signals that ended up being gold, i ended up with 16 grams, the biggest a 1.7 gram bit.

Just got back from Ktown Mrs wanted a shopping trip and I said no worries but I have my detector and Ray kindly gave me some directions, win win I reckon
