Hi Ray,
Here's a pic of the little bits of reef gold and speci's from your block. Just need them a shit load bigger now.

PC,

From the look of that lot ya best bet is get the pan out and start loaming. It's not far away, maybe only a few mtrs.

ALL the gold we found was like that--sharp, jagged, prickly and hardly travelled.

Just need to get a good fieldie up there to nail the reefs.

slowly getting my gear ready again.

Pay my air fare and I'll be your "loaming bitch". It's easy to do, just takes effort.
BTW - don't go bush just yet. I need a 2300 and a coil!~

No probs Ray, have found a few good reefs and they all started with the detector and ended up with the pan to pin point. Next time you are down I will show you the last reef found. Rock was going up to 2,000oz to the ton. Pity we only got a few hundred kilo out but lower grade still there.
Will be running a parcel through the crusher and ring mill next month.

Got a 6" Jaw crusher thats purpose built for the job. When you run the crushed rock through the ring mill it tends to flatten the fine gold and helps with the recovery.
If I didn't have those the compactor would be spot on to use.
