souped up 2300
Have heard about a couple of people that have attached their Li-Io Battery to the 2300 via a modified lead with the full power of the battery feeding the 2300.
from all accounts this is working a treat
the down side is u r hooked up to the 2300 but maybe if u attach the battery to the detector and use a bungy to compensate the weight factor back to a pro swing harness u should be ok.
I will have a couple of leads available for those who want to have a go.
with the xtra power-- u should get a lot more penetration and increased sensitivity.
the best little machine has now got a shed load better.

Re: souped up 2300
Dont know how that would help..I believe they would have a power regulator in the system to protect it from over voltage.

Re: souped up 2300
It is definatley possible, I have seen several adapted with li ion batteries that fit in the existing battery compartment.
I wasn't a fan because running the higher voltage made the machine jittery but the blokes I know using them are happy.

I wonder how much of a performance difference it made to them
