Hi all
I just joined today.  I'm a member of a few MD forums but not contributed much to the WA ones as we've had very little opportunity to play in WA.  My wife and I and a couple of friends (new to gold detecting) are travelling over to WA end April to have our first serious go on a gold field or two over there.  Permissions have been obtained and we are rearing to go.
I have a 5000 but know I'll have to go for the 7000 once I manage to find enough gold to pay off the 5000.
I live in Canberra and have tried a few NSW, Qld and Vic goldfields with very very modest success.  Oh well.  I think I'm getting better.
All the best!
