don't know how some prospectors go on about no scratches and in as new condition..

Yep! That's what my 7000 looked like and the Elite on the 5000 is worse than that one!

The Pilbara is HARD on your gear no doubt. That mongrel weed that grows in burnt creeks after a good wet season and has all that sticky resin all over it is a nightmare, it gets all over your coils and detectors lower shaft! If you wear shorts it sticks to the hairs on your legs then every time you brush past something the hairs get ripped out by the roots.
That's the price you pay for living in Gods own country, so suck it up Ray.
