fishin 40 mile
well we thought we would do a spot of fishin today-sunday being the last day of the Xmas break.
we the day started out ok then about an hour or so into the morning the wind from the west decided to try to blow our toopays of our heads. If started blowing for the next 5 hours non stop from when we were at 40 mile beach till we ventured down to Gournarre point at the other end of the point.
We had a shed load of bait and take about fish, well we are still talking about the lack of sizeable fish, from snapper, cod, blue bone, bream etc Steve managed to catch a book load and let everyone go. The rest of us well we just go good at replacing tackle after snag after snag.
it must have been tag and release day.
At least with prospecting u don't have to let the undersize ones go..
Stuff it we are all going to stick with prospecting from now on.
regards

Re: fishin 40 mile
Thanks Ray for the great time in Ktown, we will be back, probably with the rest of the family in tow.
The only fish I didn't catch was the one I was after, a nice jack and the weather really turned it on well maybe not the wind.
See you next time.
Thanks to JD and Mark as well.
