Hi all from Speedwayjb36.

I'm new to the hobby and keen to learn. Living in Tom Price and have found a few small bits.
Went out the other morning for a couple of hours, getting 6 pieces for 2.8 g total, but really enjoy being out there looking.
For me, it's a bit like fishing (good excuse to go to the beach) detecting is a good excuse to go bush and camping.
I've got a 4500 and 2300 and keen to meet like minded people to have a look around. This forum looks like a good place to start.

Waiting impatiently for some cooler weather. Bring on winter.

Cheers John.

GDAY JOHN
spent new years eve at old toms cabin. there was seven people at the bar and six working behind the bar.
apparently the golf course was going off with karaoke !!
also got pinged for driving down the access road without a permit buy trevor (nice bloke)
10 minutes quick on the ipad had a permit all sorted.
I got a 4500 and a 2300 as well don't give up on the 4500 they are still a good machine just get a elite coil you want go wrong.
all the best in your conquests for gold.

Thanks Speciman,
I got an 14" elite recently and am impressed with the coil. Found myself digging much bigger holes and finding 0.5 grammers in areas I have previously worked over with both the 4500 and 2300. Targets are much deeper.
Regards, John.
