240v charger 7k

the 240v charger that plugs into the 7k battery charger gave up the ghost today only after 4 weeks of use----- so rather than piss fart around getting a new one --
I went around to Jcar and nailed one from there for $29 with a half a dozen attachments....

its 15v but it hasn't melted yet so far so good.

and battery and wm is charged --all good.

What does we do if the charger fails on a new 7000? Send it back to the dealer or send it back to Minelab?

to save double handling I suggest u send it back to Minelab with all your details and the serial number of the detector --

don't forget to take the 12v charger coz its only the 240v unit which plugs into the charger that seems to b playing up.

address it to the SERVICE DEPT at minelab.

I have had a batch of faulty chargers from the 2300 of late.
