have heard of quite a few machines running a black line through the screen, an obvious problem not caused by the operator. Is it therefore up to Minelab to cover freight ?

minelab cover the return freight and cost of repairs if under warrantee.

generally they look after u.

had the same problem on my ctx 3030 (twice) minelab were great and fixed the problem
