retractable awning
same as on most caravans these days--does anyone have one of those contraptions on their 4by.
u simply unhitch and pull out the awning and legs either drop down or fold out from the troopy.
looking to make life easier..

my custom made monstrosity is a good bit of kit, not retractable but doesn't require legs but burns the shite out of your hands when trying to roll it up

Re: retractable awning
Wow it's hard to believe how cheap these things are. I've been running around trying to buy another plastic hinge for my ARB one that snapped in a gust of wind last time we were out at Meekatharra. If I'd known the price I would have just bought a new one and got the alloy hinges. Too late now I've started making new hinges so I guess well stick with this one for now.
