it looks daunting but really if u have the capacity to use a detector efficiently then u will easily grasp the way tenegraph operates.

u can find a piece of vacant ground or go place a SPL on a granted E. its not hard and if u need a few pointers by all means come down to the workshop and i'll try to help u.

but at least have a go.

I use Tengraph but I find Geomap easier as everything is downloaded so you have it when you go bush. You do have to regularly update the tenements because these are downloaded as well. The maps are a lot better than anything I've been able to extract from Tengraph.

I'm agree with Phil on this.
Geomaps is much easier to use and I can connect it to my GPS and know exactly where I am in relation to the lease boundaries. Just remember to update the tenements before you head out.

Regards, John.

G'Day! Guy's

I have been using Geo View as well once you get your head around it
It is very handy gps friendly lets you see where you are all the time
Use it on the computer and the iPad .....

Cheers Nanjim

We also use GeoMap for WA i't very good, GeoView is also very good but need internet access while using it.

GeoMap only needs the satellite to use it and track you, only need internet access to update the tenements each week.

Tengraph and GeoMap are both excellent programs and well worth getting to know how to use them.

cheers dave

Unfortunately, tengraph is on the way out. DMP say' it will be gone by the end of the year....they don't say which year!! Geoview will be taking it's place...obviously a pimped out version...and so if you were going to pick one only to learn then geoview would be it. I'm personally not a fan of geomap as the idea of laptops in vehicles is not for me...also...you won't be taking your laptop out for a swing will ya!! We use and teach a simple system that loads tenement boundary's etc etc onto your handheld GPS unit and so you can drive or walk and know where you are at all times.

It's Geomaps for me. I carry a small laptop in the car. I like that I can load various information like shallow workings, mine shafts and dry blow areas etc. With connection to GPS I can see exactly where I am in relation to a boundary so no need to take it swinging with me.
