auto smoothing on or off
be interesting to follow up on those that use AS--on or off.
personally I leave mine off but on noisy days I certainly crank it up.
does it interfere with the target recognition?
what is the benefit of being OFF compared to ON?
regards

Re: auto smoothing on or off
Hi Ray,
Myself I have it on low and don't touch it , I do use a booster and head phones and on faint targets I find they stand out better with smoothing on low
Regards snapper

I usually leave it off. Interestingly the deepest target I found on high yield was 7.5g at a depth 14" and I didn't realise at the time that the AS was on low. I'm not sold that you will miss gold by using it.
