Geez Ray, take it easy, that blokes a bit of a goer and you call him Denise ( bounce header)
I liked the original New Tricks better, mainly cos I got a thing for Amanda Redman Cool

Was bloody good as minder to Arthur Daly and only the other day we were talking about James Bolam from the series "when the boat comes in"

Them were the days

seems all the good series have good actors and no gun fire--is that telling u something.

don't know how the yanks r going to control Firearm when just about every movie that is action packed has gun fire, bombs and all the rest of the bullshit.

Its bad enough being radicalized into prospecting for gold let alone anything else.

To true ...if I see one more leather panted yank sheila swing round with a gun popping at some bad guy I reckon it will be time to unplug the TV and go back to radio. The happiest time we have is in the little van in winter..No TV a book and a radio are so much more relaxing. The Minder with Dennis and George/Terry and Arthur what a show, first episode being gunfight at the OK laundrette as I remember it. then New Tricks ,the yanks could do worse than learn from these. On the other hand Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels was out there. Shocked

Yeah I'd take Amanda Redman prospecting any day though not sure if my mind would be on the gold. Laughing Laughing

Peter, you are a bloody torment. Twisted Evil

Chris came home from a garage sale with all the episodes (WTBCI) on vhs tape. Cool
Well bugger. Cos we aint got the machine to play tapes anymore, its all dvd. Mad

But as GR comments, its nice to relax on retiring in some bush camp with a book or ABC RN rather than buggering around with satellite TV! Sad

Better yet, a few reds yarning around the camp fire Smile

Have been told progress is great. Embarassed
