sensitivity 9 compared to 18+

I tinker with my Z every time I have it out bush and one thing I have noticed is the marked difference the low mark 9 on sensitivity compared with my normal setting of 18-20 has on a target.

I found targets that the 5K with the Elite coil didn't find yet they were as clear as the sun rising on the Z.

any one else notice the same effect.

just saying I have more chances of finding gold in the high numbers especially rocky schist country.
I run mine on 18-20 most occasions.

hey guys
only had the zed a coupla weeks
its horses for courses, they reckon with high numbers on sensetivity you mite miss small gold.
the default is 9 apparently . i picked up a speck the other day on 9 sensetivity that i couldn't pick up with my fingers i had to lick my finger to get it, WTF

Thanks Ray, I'm looking forward to this season with the upgrade and will crank up my machine and see how it goes.

Speciman, I'd suggest you try playing with the settings when you get a target and see if you can improve it before digging,pay close attention to swing speed.....slowwww is the go

Minelab state that if your GPZ can detect a ten cent coin at 19" your good to go, some can get 21-23"

In case you didn't realise that was an air test, so catch up fella's
