What Determines the Depth of Detecting
Users are usually curious about detecting depth. Detecting depth is affected by many factors and one of the most important ones is the mineral composition of the land. In addition, the size of the target, when they are buried, types (gold, iron, steel, copper, silver), weather condition and a user's skill will affect the detecting depth.
Work theory, the frequency, characteristics of the coil and software are the most important factors. For example, some board and analog cards are unstable and easy to make a noise, which will cause a critical issue. This is usually a design error or without compatible card.
Incorrect calculation and software adaptation phase is a problem. These factors have a direct impact on simplicity and depth.

Re: What Determines the Depth of Detecting
Hi Julie
Is coil size important?
If I have a realy big one will it go deeper
I was always told it's not how big it is but how you use it or is that what people with small ones are told to make them feel better?
I'm sure you will have the answers as you seem very experienced

The biggest thing I have found if you turn it on it goes deeper than off

yes, coil size will affect detecting depth. Generally speaking, the size more big, the depth more long.
