they still haven't arrived yet..
U shouldn't b wearing out a skid plate that quick unless u r using it like a dozer, which its not intended for.
have u rotated it 180`
but will let everyone know asap.

Mine is splitting at the notches due to its removal to get rid of the fine dirt accumulation between coil and skid plate, which I have found gives a poorer ground balance if not cleaned out in my opinion.
The silastic may have to come out, previously just used tape, the new coil is a bit more difficult to tape up though.
This machine is the real deal, although a bit harder to tame in some damp salt bush alkaline areas below breakaway drainage areas. Once the same area is redetected say 2-3 days after drying out further will hum along nicely.
