pro swing harness
for those that don't realise, and I've seen a few hunch backs walking around because they haven't adjusted their harness properly from the back velco flap which goes down the back of the harness....
pull up the flap and do a quick adjustment to make it longer and then reset the flaps down and u will be lot more comfortable.
i'll knock up a photo or two.

Re: pro swing harness
Nice work Ray, the pro swing really is the secret.
Set mine up with tips from UTBN and did some adjustments on the fly and on it's maiden voyage yesterday i didn't notice any adverse effects from swinging the 7000, well one, a little sore around the righthand shoulder BUT at this stage i had the bungee clipped off the ring on that side and was obviously pulling the harness down a little on that side but since have added the spreader bar and will clip off the cord, put a knot at the handle area like Jase suggested and this made a big difference when i took it for a quick spin around the lounge room last night, no gold though
Now on the other hand i know a guy out at the moment detecting with a 7000 and refuses to use the pro swing or any harness/bungee and guess what he is complaining about

the back strap needs to be adjusted and its easy to do--velco strap.
then u need the bridge to be in place across the front.

Re: pro swing harness
Thanks for the tips on how to set this up. I have been swinging the 7000 without the harness and find it OK. Helps if you have to stop every couple of minutes to dig though.

Re: pro swing harness
with both the J pegs in place on the harness, I had to back off the adjuster on the RHS at the bottom were it goes into the harness as I found with it fully extended that every time I swung to the left, I was getting pinched on the inside of my right arm---being right handed.
with a hitch around the shaft and then adjust the bungy the machine swung for hours without any fatigue on my shoulder or arm except for the irritating pinching I was getting.
so if some of u haven't set the pro swing up then u bloody ought to.
the hitch around the hand grip is essential for the balance of the detector to keep it in an upright position.
if anyone is still having problems let me know and I will help u....the pro swing is a lot easier to take and distribute the weight than the GPX harness..try the difference and feal the benefits.
