trip to Meeka
hi guys, well that was a great trip up to meeka with John and Phil, I also cought up with Graham and Biggets Kev a great bunch to go prospecting with. some good gold found by all. well over an oz between us and I got a few nice species to bash and see but a few grams in them for sure, one is a quartz beauty weighing 17.5g with lots of gold showing through and could go 10g in itself but im not smashing that one. my tally is 15 g of gold consisting of 30 pieces and the species. i also found two nice nuggets in conglomerate at a foot deep and had to chisel it out but the dirt still had a good sound to it so i took it all back home to pan.
vid soon
Martin
