Fishing Jurien Bay Empty Fishing Jurien Bay

Post by Admin Wed 25 Mar 2015, 6:10 pm

went to the bay for a couple of birthday parties--my daughter and a good mate of mine--party over the weekend.

The daughter and a mate's son fell out of a plane at 13,000' just to top of the weekend. Why anyone would want to pay good money to jump out of a perfectly good plane has got me beat.

went fishing some 25miles out and stuff me dead the swell was horrendous. The boat would ride over the swell and at the bottom u would look around and all u could see was water. It was bad. All in the fun to catch a few snapper.
Well we caught 4 nice snapper and the swell didn't let up so we called it quits after about 5 hours....

when we were at the holiday house we could see the swell from the land and trust me we were idiots going out in a 28' boat--next time well hire a 70' boat to go out---then again maybe I will give the whole thing a miss and stick to the waters up my way.

but we all survived to tell the story..

regards
oneday

or just take a hand line with you and try your luck in Martin's goldfish bucket Laughing

best of both worlds, detecting and fishing.
